Clark family recipe for Vegetable Soup.

Ingredients

  • tomatoes (fresh is best for all vegetables, but canned or frozencan be used)
  • corn
  • okra
  • butterbeans
  • onion
  • garlic powder
  • salt / pepper
  • 2 cups corn
  • 2 cups okra (cut in rounds)
  • 2 cups butterbeans
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In saucepan add tomatoes (if canned use large)
  2. salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cook till all vegetables are tender. Any other vegetable can be
  4. added if desired. Stir during cooking to be sure corn does not stick
  5. to bottom of pan.
