Clark family recipe for Sweet Potato Pie.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen pie crust
  • 5 medium sized sweet potatoes
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 1/2 to 1 cup sugar (depending on how sweet you want your pie)
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Follow instructions for the pie crust.
  2. Bake or boil the sweet potatoes until soft. Take the skins off and
  3. put the potatoes in a bowl. Add the butter, sugar and vanilla
  4. flavoring. If it isn't real creamy, add a few teaspoons of milk and
  5. milk until creamy.
  6. Put sweet potatoes in crust and bake according to instructions.
  7. Top with whipped cream or eat plain.
