Stuffed Peppers

Clark family recipe for Stuffed Peppers.
Ingredients
- 2 green peppers
- 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- Worcestershire sauce
- A 1 Sauce
- Heinz 57 sauce
- garlic powder
- oatmeal (I like to use quick cooking)
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Cut peppers in half and take out seed and pulp. Mix chuck (I pinch
- off enough meat that I think will fill each pepper)., 1 egg yolk,
- sauces (small amt. of each), 2 tbsp. oatmeal, season with garlic
- powder, salt and pepper to taste. Press mixture into pepper halves
- and bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for approx. 30/45 minutes
- (depending on oven). You can check of doneness by inserting
- knife. Top the meat with catsup, return to oven and let heat about 5
- minutes. Serve warm.
Notes
If you prefer, cooked rice can be used instead of oatmeal, but you would want to use probably about 1 cup.
