Clark family recipe for Roast Beef.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. beef roast (I prefer rump, bottom round, sirloin tip or eye of round)
  • l Pkg. ranch dressing mix
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder and cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Season to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place roast in
  2. dutch over or large pan, add 1/2 cup water and cover. Cook for
  3. approx. 3 and 1/2 hrs. at 350 degrees. Remove roast from pan, heat
  4. broth to boiling, add approx. 1/2 of dressing mix and thicken to
  5. desired consistency with cornstarch.

Notes

If broth is too strong for gravy, water can be added to taste.
