Clark family recipe for Roast Beef.
Ingredients
- 3/4 lb. beef roast (I prefer rump, bottom round, sirloin tip or eye of round)
- l Pkg. ranch dressing mix
- salt, pepper, garlic powder and cornstarch
Instructions
- Season to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place roast in
- dutch over or large pan, add 1/2 cup water and cover. Cook for
- approx. 3 and 1/2 hrs. at 350 degrees. Remove roast from pan, heat
- broth to boiling, add approx. 1/2 of dressing mix and thicken to
- desired consistency with cornstarch.
Notes
If broth is too strong for gravy, water can be added to taste.
