Clark family recipe for Pork Loin with Red Plum Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 5 to 8 lb pork loin
  • Garlic salt/powder
  • Onion salt
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 3/4 chopped onion
  • 1 cup red plum jelly
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°. Sprinkle pork with garlic and onion salts;
  2. place fat side up in roasting pan. Cook for 25 minutes per pound.
  3. Melt butter, add onion, and cook until tender. Add remaining
  4. ingredients; simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Pour 1/2 the sauce over pork meat. Cook an additional 20 30
  6. minutes. Serve extra sauce on the side.
