Clark family recipe for Pineapple Upsidedown cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 and 1/2 to 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 box cake mix prepared per instructions on box

Instructions

  1. melt butter in the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan.
  2. Add enough brown sugar to soak up butter and stir until dissolved.
  3. Pour can of pineapple on top of this.
  4. Add prepared cake mix on top of this and bake at 350° until golden
  5. brown or until done in the middle.
