Clark family recipe for Macaroni and Cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 box elbow noodles
- 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 3 TBS self rising flour
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups milk
- 2 TBS butter
Instructions
- Boil noodles till al dente' and set aside.
- In a large sauce pan melt butter.
- Add flour to this and whisk until it's absorbed in butter.
- SLOWLY add the milk and whisk till smooth.
- Cook on med heat until as thick as cream.
- Add cheese and let it melt.
- Put noodles in a 9 X 13 and pour cheese sauce on top.
- Top with extra cheese.
- Bake at 375 till cheese has melted.
