Clark family recipe for Macaroni and Cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 box elbow noodles
  • 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3 TBS self rising flour
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups milk
  • 2 TBS butter

Instructions

  1. Boil noodles till al dente' and set aside.
  2. In a large sauce pan melt butter.
  3. Add flour to this and whisk until it's absorbed in butter.
  4. SLOWLY add the milk and whisk till smooth.
  5. Cook on med heat until as thick as cream.
  6. Add cheese and let it melt.
  7. Put noodles in a 9 X 13 and pour cheese sauce on top.
  8. Top with extra cheese.
  9. Bake at 375 till cheese has melted.
