Clark family recipe for German Chocolate Brownies.

Ingredients

  • 1, 14 oz. bag of caramels
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk divide into 1/3 cups
  • Box of german chocolate cake
  • 3/4 cup soft butter
  • 1, 6oz chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine caramels and 1/3 cup eval milk and melt in microwave.
  2. Combine cake mix, milk and butter.
  3. Beat until it holds together.
  4. Mix in nuts.
  5. Press into a greased 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and then cover with caramel
  7. mixture.
  8. Bake 350° for 17 20 minutes.
  9. Let them cool before you try to cut.
