Clark family recipe for Chocolate Delight.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • Cool whip
  • 2 small instant chocolate puddings
  • 3 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Mix together the flour, butter and pecans. The mixture will be used
  2. to press into the bottom of a rectangular glass baking dish, to form
  3. a crust. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Let cool.
  4. Mix sugar, cream cheese and 1/2 container of Cool whip together
  5. and spread on top of cooled crust.
  6. Mix pudding and milk together, allowing it to thicken. Pour on top
  7. of sugar mixture.
  8. Top with Cool Whip.

Notes

This is a great dessert when you need to serve a lot of people. Very little cooking involved... just takes time to do the different layers.
