Clark family recipe for Blackeye Peas.
Ingredients
- dry blackeyed peas
- salt
- ham bone or a hunk of ham
Instructions
- Pour 1 cup of peas( make sure and wash them before you cook
- them) in a med sauce pan.
- Add enough water to cover them.
- Add salt and ham bone or ham
- Bring to a boil and turn down to med. and cook for about 45
- minutes adding water as needed. As they get tender taste them to
- make sure you have enough salt.
