Clark family recipe for Banana Cake.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 bananas

Instructions

  1. Mix together the first 3 ingredients and bring to a boil.
  2. While it's getting hot, smash 3 bananas and add to boiling mixture.
  3. Bring back to a boil.
  4. Bake either the Yellow Cake mix or a bought yellow cake mix.
  5. Poke holes in each layer (or sheet cake) and pour the sugary
  6. mixture all over the cake.

Notes

The bananas will turn black and look yucky. To deter that from happening, eat it all the first night you make it! :) This is a recipe and half. This is good if using 3 layers of cake, but for a sheet cake only a single recipe is necessary.
